While great customer service is important, you also have to know when to follow and adhere to company policy. If company policy states that open and used items are not eligible for a refund, you must stick to the policy. When answering this question, state that you will be polite and courteous to the customer at all times & follow the company’s return policy before proceeding to explain why they are not eligible for a refund.
